Inventory Control Clerk
to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate product inventory levels, monitoring stock requirements, coordinating replenishment and processing orders, and ensuring inventory information remains accurate within the company’s database system. The ideal candidate is
highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers and computer systems . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and inventory skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and collaborating closely with Production, Processing, and Sales teams. This position covers shift times fully
on-site from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday to Friday . RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain appropriate
minimum and maximum inventory levels
for each product. Monitor inventory levels and create
work orders to ensure stock is replenished
when required. Create internal processing orders to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Work closely with Production and Processing teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Retrieve
Mill Test Reports (MTRs)
when required for customer shipments. Prepare
lists of overstock and devalued products
for the Sales team. Accurately enter and
maintain inventory data within the company’s database system . Monitor inventory information to support efficient product availability and overall operations. Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a
high level of accuracy and attention to detail. REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in
inventory control, data entry, administration, purchasing, or a related role
is an asset. Proficiency with
Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems . Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn customized software and database systems. Excellent numeracy and data-entry skills , with strong attention to accuracy. Basic accounting knowledge is considered an asset. Highly organized with the ability to
multitask and prioritize competing workloads . Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Processing, Sales, and other departments. Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. COMPENSATION:
