The Faculty of Law at Queen’s University seeks a passionate lawyer to guide law students in clinical legal education. This position requires expertise in corporate/commercial law and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Candidates should have three to five years of legal experience and a dedication to teaching students through hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise law students in client legal services
• Review and assess student-generated legal documents
• Provide mentoring and guidance on legal matters
• Participate in community outreach and education
• Develop and deliver educational materials and courses
Requirements:
• J.D. or LL.B. and membership in valuable standing with Law Society of Ontario
• Three to five years of relevant legal experience
• Strong communication skills and exceptional judgment
• Familiarity with community resources for clients
• Teaching experience is an asset
