Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher

We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to fill a part time Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher position (0.75 FTE). Responsibilities:

Teaching Language Arts and Social Studies as the primary focus across middle school grades, with opportunities to support additional subject areas as needed Communicating effectively with students, orally and in writing with parents, and working collaboratively with other teachers Using data and assessments to improve instruction and student learning Preparing, administering, and evaluating assessments and report cards Participating in staff meetings, career development days, and educational conferences Ensuring the classroom environment is safe, healthy,



and supportive for all students Contributing actively to the broader RHA school community Skills, Experience and Attributes:

Classroom experience in Middle School (Grade 6-8) Proven success in classroom management Good organizational skills and ability to work as a team player Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Experience in a Jewish day school setting is an asset Competence with Google Workspace and student information systems Education:
