Bruno's Contracting (Thunder Bay) Limited is a heavy civil construction group with over forty years’ experience in heavy civil construction, road building, asphalt paving, materials production, and demolition. We are currently welcoming applications for a full‑time Construction Foreman capable of fulfilling the following requirements:Job Description Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, including crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials on projects of varying size and complexity.- Plan and organize work to meet project schedules, ensuring efficient use of labour, equipment, and resources.- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work is completed to required standards.- Monitor daily production, track progress, and report to project managers and senior management as required.- Enforce company safety policies and procedures, ensuring all work is performed in a safe and compliant manner.- Identify and resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and delays in a timely and effective manner.- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and clients to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.- Train, mentor,



and provide leadership to crew members to maintain a productive and positive work workplace.- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.Skills & Other Requirements- Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction operations, including road building, grading, and/or asphalt paving.- Proven leadership experience supervising crews in a construction environment.- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.- Effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions on‑site.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with applicable safety regulations.- Valid Class G driver’s license.Education & Experience- 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction is required.- Previous foreman or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.- Relevant certifications (e.G., health & safety training) are considered an asset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
