As a key member of the Capital Planning & Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of the Central Heating Plant's control systems. Your experience with boiler operations and environmental monitoring will be instrumental in achieving the university’s sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair boiler control system components • Maintain environmental monitoring equipment calibration • Assist in construction projects affecting control systems • Develop programming strategies for boiler efficiency • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during operations
Requirements: • Valid Journeyperson Industrial Instrument Mechanic certification • 6 years' experience in high-pressure steam plants • Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial controls • Proficient with computer applications and server technologies • Experience in working under emergency conditions
