Responsibilities

- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and reconciliations
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Monitor inventory and manufacturing costs
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
- Assist with GST/HST, year-end, audit, and tax requirements
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
- Prepare relevant monthly accounting reports for all subdivisions
- Conduct monthly accounting reviews for all subdivisions
- Strengthen accounting processes and internal financial controls
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of assigned financial information and reports
- Identify financial risks, discrepancies, control weaknesses, and cost-management opportunities
- Escalate significant issues to the CEO

Requirements

- CPA designation is required
- Degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing or cost-accounting experience is an asset
- Strong Excel and accounting/ERP system skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid organizational and time-management skills




- Ability to interpret financial information and communicate it to non-financial managers
- Strong business judgment
