Contribute to meaningful health policy initiatives as a Strategic Public Policy Advisor with Peel Region. This hybrid role focuses on policy analysis, advocacy, and building partnerships across health services.

In this full-time contract position, you will provide strategic policy support to the Health Leadership Team and Regional Council. With a focus on public health legislation and community well-being, your expertise will guide research and synthesize complex policy issues. Collaborating with both internal and external partners, you'll drive advancements in health advocacy and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide strategic policy support to leadership and Regional Council • Monitor legislative and political trends impacting health services • Manage advocacy projects aligning with corporate priorities • Research and synthesize complex health policy issues • Collaborate with partners to enhance policy responses

Requirements: • University degree in public policy or related field • Minimum 5 years’ experience in public policy or research • Proficient in MS Office software • Robust analytical and critical thinking skills • Knowledge of local health systems
