We are looking for a well-spoken individual with exceptional client service skills and a great attitude. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of all clinic areas including locker rooms, lounges, offices and examination rooms. The successful candidate will be assigned duties as directed by the General Manager, Markham. This is a full-time position and scheduled for 5 days a week between Monday-Saturday during the clinic hours of 8:30am-5:00pm. This position is stationed at Medcan's Markham location at 600 Cochrane Drive.What You’ll DoGeneral maintenance of all areas of the clinicHousekeeping opening and closing proceduresSetting up and managing breakfast, lunch and snacks in clinic loungesStocking and inventory for the clinic loungesMaintenance of restrooms and locker roomsInventory and order placement for daily breakfast, lunch and snacksReview and reporting of any maintenance deficienciesLinen supplies and inventoryAssistance with food and beverage serviceSpot checking and refreshing of all public areasResponding to client requestsAssisting nurses in restocking clinic rooms throughout the dayChecking and distributing incoming deliveriesClinic supplies and deliveries as neededSterilization of equipment and medical suppliesDisposal of clinic waste including medical/biohazard wastePreventive maintenanceCoordinating with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional delivery of serviceTravel regularly between multiple clinic locations to deliver materials, supplies, and business-related items.All other tasks as assigned by General Manager, Markham.The RequirementsCustomer service skills trainingValid drivers license and ability to regularly drive between multiple clinic locationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization and time management skillsFull-time position and must be available assignedPrior hotel housekeeping experience in a 4-5 Star Hotel is an assetPosition Pay RangePosition Pay Range $36,374.00 - $50,014.25 CAD annually Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity.
