In this role, you’ll blend your extensive experience in applied science with hands-on engineering to propel the Compass product forward. You will have a pivotal role in transforming innovative ideas into practical applications that improve retailer interactions. Your background in evaluating models and data will be key to developing features that maximize efficiency and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the scientific direction for Compass's AI features • Implement efficient end-to-end solutions in the FLARE app • De-risk product strategies through transparent planning • Set high standards for evaluation and experimental development • Collaborate on architectural formulations with engineers
Requirements: • 5+ years of relevant industry experience • Shipped LLM-powered components within core products • Expertise in applied ML, data science, and evaluation methods • Extensive cross-stack development experience • High autonomy, resourceful with decision-making
