Role Description

We're looking for a friendly, skilled Teachers for a part-time, in office role in Mississauga. You'll plan and teach one-on-one lessons to students of all ages and levels - from total beginners to advanced players. You'll help build solid technique, musicality, and music literacy, and can prep students for exams, auditions, recitals, and competitions along the way. Day-to-day, you'll create lesson plans, pick out repertoire, track student progress, and stay in touch with parents, all while keeping the studio a fun and supportive place to learn.



We're looking for someone who works well with our team, follows our school's approach, and brings a positive, welcoming vibe to every lesson.

Qualifications

- Music training (diploma, degree, or equivalent experience)
- Strong skills, with experience teaching students at different levels
- Good handle on music theory and teaching methods - able to explain things clearly and adjust your approach as needed
- Some familiarity with exam and audition prep (like RCM), including picking repertoire and knowing technical requirements
- Great communication skills and a patient, encouraging, inclusive teaching style
- Comfort with different musical styles
- Able to keep a reliable part-time schedule, on-site in Mississauga
- A real commitment to making lessons feel safe and welcoming for everyone
