This role includes adhering to dietary regulations and maintaining food safety protocols. Engage with staff and residents as you contribute to special dietary needs and assist in meal planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and prepare meals for residents and guests
• Review menus and ensure proper food preparation
• Maintain food safety and temperature checks
• Participate in special meal events
• Attend staff meetings and in-services regularly
Requirements:
• Must hold a Food Handler’s Certificate
• Experience in a large food preparation setting
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets essential
• Physically able to handle heavy lifting
• Updated Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening required
