Key Responsibilities:
• Embed safety management systems in daily operations • Oversee health and safety for multi-million-dollar projects • Collaborate with Engineering on safety-by-design principles • Enforce contractor safety standards and onboarding • Lead regulatory compliance and internal audits
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Health and Safety or related field • 12-15 years of progressive safety leadership experience • Certified Safety Qualified (CSP) or similar credentials • Knowledge of Canadian safety regulations and standards • Strong communication and people management skills
