Director, Student Engagement and OutreachToronto, ON, CAHelp us inspire the next generation of CPAsCPA Ontario is seeking a Director, Student Engagement and Outreach to lead the profession’s recruitment strategy across Ontario. This is a unique leadership role at the intersection of talent attraction, brand building, and business development—focused on ensuring a strong, diverse, and high-quality pipeline of future CPAs.Reporting to the Chief Communications & Sustainability Officer, this role leads engagement strategies for high school students, university students, domestic workforce candidates, and internationally educated professionals. Working collaboratively across CPA Ontario and with external partners, the Director ensures the CPA designation resonates with individuals at every stage of their education and career journey.Your expertise empowers you:Develop and execute a province-wide student engagement and outreach strategy aligned with CPA Ontario’s business objectives and the profession’s pipeline needs.Lead data-driven decision making by partnering with Data & Insights teams to analyze trends, define KPIs, and report progress to senior leaders and external stakeholders.Oversee student programming across four talent attraction verticals: High School, University, Domestic Workforce, and Internationally Educated Professionals.Partner with Marketing to design and deliver targeted campaigns that enhance the CPA brand and drive awareness, interest, and conversion.Build and manage strategic relationships with post‑secondary institutions, employers, education partners, agencies, and community organizations.You are the ideal candidates if:Education and Experience:A seasoned leader with 10+ years of experience in student engagement,



recruitment, or talent attraction, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven skills and abilities:Experienced in employer branding and large‑scale recruitment strategies, ideally within professional services, accounting, law, or financial services.Highly data‑literate, with a proven ability to use insights, dashboards, and analytics to optimize programs and drive continuous improvement.An effective executive communicator, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and influencing diverse stakeholders.Known for strong project management, organizational discipline, and the ability to lead complex initiatives in fast‑paced environments.Salary Range:The starting annual salary for this position is between$129,600 and $162,100per annum, based on candidates’ qualifications, experience, and internal parity.
