The Product Manager owns a product line end to end: the vision, the strategy, and the business outcomes. The role sits at the junction of the commercial plan, technological development, and the user experience, and is accountable for understanding the market and the customer, defining the roadmap, and deciding what to build and why. Working across engineering, sales, marketing, customer success, operations, and manufacturing, the Product Manager is the voice of the customer, owns the product’s success metrics, and partners closely with the Product Owners who turn that direction into delivery, coordinating across teams to ensure the product line ships successfully end to end.

MainResponsibilities:
Define and own the product vision, strategy, andproduct-line roadmap, aligned with company objectives and measurable businessoutcomes
Conduct customer and market research (interviews,surveys, voice-of-the-customer) and competitive analysis to identify painpoints, opportunities, and trends
Gather, prioritize, and translate customer and marketneeds into clear product requirements for the delivery teams
Own overarching epics and initiatives that spanmultiple squads and Product Owners; coordinate scope, sequencing, andcross-team dependencies so the product line delivers coherently end to end
Partner closely and collaboratively with the ProductOwners across the delivery teams, providing explicit product direction and relyingon them to translate it into their squads’ backlogs and delivery
Build the business case for new initiatives, includingeconomic impact and build / buy / sequence decisions,
and own the line’scommercial results
Evaluate opportunities surfaced during sales andquoting that go beyond current product capability; weigh them against theproduct-line roadmap, decide whether to pursue, and re-prioritize, building thebusiness case and trade-offs for anything taken forward
Define, track, and report KPIs and success metrics;use data to refine strategy and optimize the product
Partner with engineering through the full productlifecycle, from concept and prototype to launch and iteration
Lead go-to-market, pricing, and positioning incollaboration with sales and marketing to drive adoption and revenue
Govern intake and scope to manage product variants andchange requests, protecting margin and avoiding proliferation
Maintain deep market expertise through customers,analysts, and industry events, and act as subject-matter expert on the productand competition
For products with a physical or hardware component:bridge hardware and software requirements, evaluate technical trade-offs, andsteer the product through its development and lifecycle gates
Own the product-defining and commercial documentation(PRD / MRD, positioning and messaging, business case, and go-to-market), plusthe consolidated product-line documentation the customer sees (productspecification manual, user manual, system-level release notes); accountablethat this set exists, is coherent across components, and is on-message
Define which safety and regulatory requirements applyfor the product line’s target markets, and be accountable that the product lineis compliant,
with conformity and supporting documentation in place, beforerelease, in partnership with engineering and quality
Requirementsand qualifications required :
Bachelor’s degree in businessadministration, engineering, computer science, or a related field
Five (5) to ten (10) years ofexperience in product management, ideally in a senior or managerial role
Proven experience covering theentire product lifecycle, including product launches or the execution ofprograms and projects
Strong technical knowledge and theability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
Experience coordinatingcross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of agile developmentmethodologies and tools
Experience in robotics, automation,manufacturing, or with complex hardware or software products is a major asset
Understanding of the structuralsteel and/or welding industry is an asset
Fluency in English and French
