Job Description Salary:
To be discussed JOB SUMMARY Since 2005, Access Cash General Partnership, operating as part of Perativ, has been a market leader in ATM services and technology. We help our customers reduce ATM management costs, improve customer experience, and enhance operational productivity. We operate ATMs for banks (such as BMO and RBC), major retailers (such as Walmart Canada), and various other businesses under the brands Ezee ATM and Access Cash, supporting over 10,000 ATMs across Canada. We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Edmonton. The technician reports to the Service Supervisor and is responsible for providing exceptional technical and customer service to ensure maximum ATM performance. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing ATMs and communicating technical issues effectively. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Stage new and used ATM terminals, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, correct programming, and communication testing. Install and uninstall ATM terminals on-site. Provide basic on-site training to current customers on ATM loading and troubleshooting procedures, demonstrating machine functionality. Guide customers remotely via phone to resolve issues, following troubleshooting procedures. Perform in-person maintenance when remote resolution is not possible, diagnosing, repairing, and testing ATMs for full functionality. Conduct preventative maintenance on-site. Support internal departments and external customers by providing technical information and guidance. Participate in a rotating schedule for on-call support during evenings and weekends. Manage inventory counts in vehicles, ensuring accuracy and operational tools and equipment. Maintain company vehicle, ensuring regular maintenance and reporting issues. Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with special projects. EDUCATION & TRAINING High School Diploma required.
Customer service training and technical schooling are assets. EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS & KEY COMPETENCIES Minimum 2 years of experience repairing electronics and/or mechanical items, professionally or personally. At least 1 year of experience with online service call software is an asset. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass criminal and credit background checks. Understanding of shift and on-call work requirements. Strong customer service orientation and professionalism. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Supportive team attitude and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Ability to operate a cargo van and lift 50 pounds or more regularly. Willingness to work on a shift rotation, including evenings and weekends every 4-5 weeks.
