Union : HSAS Facility : La Ronge Health Centre City/Town : La Ronge Department : Integrated Nursing Unit Type : Full time regular FTE : 1 Shift Information : Days Number of Hours per Rotation : 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief : No Float : No Hours of Work : Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band : Pay Band Physician Assistant Degree $51.102 to $62.5 Travel Required : No Job Description : Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalist who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption : No Experience

Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an asset Education

Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC Licenses

Valid Class 5 driver's license Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA. Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA; or Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA)



through PACCC; or Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan). (May be asked to provide proof of meeting maintenance of certification) Memberships
