You'll work closely with engineering, quality, automation, and production teams to develop efficient machining processes that improve productivity, consistency, and quality. This position also offers the chance to help shape the company's future automation initiatives, including robotic machine tending, pallet systems, standardized tooling strategies, and lights-out machining. including Makino horizontal machining centers, a 24-pallet flexible manufacturing system, Matsuura 5-axis machining, Mazak turning centers, robotics, and modern inspection equipment. If you're looking for a stable company where your programming skills directly influence manufacturing performance-and where continuous improvement is encouraged-you'll fit right in. ️ What you'll be doing Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for new and existing production parts Develop efficient toolpaths using Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar CAM software Estimate cycle times, tooling requirements, fixturing, and setup strategies for quoting new work Set up, prove out, and validate recent machining processes Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to CNC machinists Improve machining efficiency, quality, repeatability, and cycle times Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on manufacturability and process improvements Support CNC automation initiatives including robotic machine tending and palletized machining systems Develop setup documentation, work instructions, and inspection requirements Maintain program revisions and backup libraries
