Making Waves seeks energetic Swim Instructors to teach kids using our Small Steps approach. Candidates should be great with children and families, aiming to create safe, high-energy lessons. Our instructors play a vital role in helping swimmers progress while enjoying supportive teamwork and flexible schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach using the Small Steps approach for skill development
• Build confidence and swimming skills in children
• Lead safe, structured, high-energy lessons
• Communicate warmly with families about progress
• Foster a fun and positive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
• Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
• National Lifeguard or Bronze Cross credential
• Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts weekly
• Coachable and eager to improve
• Reliable and team-oriented
