Job Title: Production Line Operator

Hours: 6am - 2:30pm

Rate of Pay: $18.50

Location: Saint John, NB

Job Information:

The Production Line Operator is responsible for safely operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment as part of a team while maintaining product quality, safety standards, and inventory accuracy. This role plays a key part in ensuring production runs efficiently while meeting brand and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
Operate and support entry-level production lines involving manual, repetitive tasks to ensure the productive processing of products.
Monitor production processes to ensure smooth operations, making adjustments as necessary to meet production targets.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.




Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Communicate openly with team members and supervisors regarding any issues that arise on the production line.

Requirements:
CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Up to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing workplace (preferred but not required).
Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in varying conditions (heights, temperature changes, outdoor settings).
Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, bump caps, safety glasses, and masks when necessary.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and adapt to changing production demands.
