Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join a well-established accounting team in Mississauga, ON. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting skilled with solid accounts payable, general ledger, and bookkeeping experience who can manage day-to-day transactions with accuracy and minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including compiling, reviewing, sorting, and processing invoices and payments.




Record and maintain accurate business transactions, including charges, credits, refunds, and general ledger entries.
Use accounting and database systems to process payments, maintain financial information, and support accurate recordkeeping.
Review transactions for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and assist with more complex accounting issues as needed.
Maintain supporting documentation and ensure accounting records are complete, organized, and accurate.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior accounting staff while assisting with additional finance and administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
Employment type: Full-time, direct hire.
Work arrangement: Hybrid schedule with 2 to 3 days per week in office.
