Join Kepler Communications as an FPGA Digital Design Engineering Intern and play a vital role in our mission of revolutionizing space connectivity. Get hands-on experience while working with cutting-edge technology. As part of Kepler Communications, the intern will maintain and expand our FPGA code base, design cutting-edge features, and work with various communication interfaces for our satellites. Candidates must be enrolled in an engineering program, with a full time commitment starting January 2027. Preference is given to those who can work in our collaborative Toronto office environment. Key Responsibilities:
Upgrade and maintain FPGA functionalities
Design IP for current satellite features
Support integration of sensor interfaces
Work on high-speed interfaces like JESD204b and Ethernet Requirements:
2+ years of Electrical or Computer Engineering studies
Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
Currently enrolled in a Canadian undergraduate program
Available for 4–16 months full-time
