Souvlaki George is a busy Greek restaurant serving fresh, quality food in a fast-paced setting. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook / Cuisinier(ère) to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to Souvlaki George recipes and standards
Work efficiently on the line during busy lunch and dinner services
Prepare ingredients, sauces, meats, vegetables, and other food items
Operate and maintain grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment
Ensure food is prepared quickly, consistently, and to quality standards
Follow proper portioning and food preparation procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
Restock and prepare your station for service
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
Assist with opening and closing duties
Help with general kitchen preparation and cleaning as required

Qualifications




Previous restaurant or line-cook experience preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen is an asset
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Solid attention to cleanliness, quality, and consistency
Reliable, punctual, and responsible
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Available to work evenings and weekends
French or English required
Greek is an asset
