Light-Duty Cleaner – Private Household

Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable private residence. Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas, making beds, doing laundry and ironing, emptying garbage, and performing other routine household cleaning tasks. The cleaner must handle household belongings carefully, follow hygiene and safety procedures, and respect the family’s privacy.

Job Responsibilities – Light-Duty Cleaner (Private Household)
Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
Dust furniture and other household surfaces.
Clean and disinfect kitchens and bathrooms.
Clean sinks, countertops, appliances, and fixtures.
Make beds and change bed linens.
Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and household linens.
Empty garbage containers and properly dispose of waste.
Clean windows, mirrors, walls, and doors as required.
Organize rooms and maintain a tidy household.




Replenish household and cleaning supplies.
Report damaged items, safety hazards, or needed repairs.
Follow household instructions and protected cleaning procedures.
Respect the family’s privacy and confidentiality
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting light objects, and working on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Valuable communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the proper use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
