Myarc Electric is hiring for a 2nd, 3rd year, 4th year, and/or Journeyman Electrician.
This is for a camp project located in Nunavut for approximately one year, working on a 2week on, 2 week off rotation, 12 hour days.
OT after 8 and 44.
Lodging provided for.
Project to start October 7.
4 positions available, 2 Journeymen, 2 Apprentice
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components
Preference to those electricians that have motor control experience
Install conduit runs
Read blueprints
Mentor apprentices
Communicate effectively in English with office and customers
Working knowledge of the CEC 2024
Perform work in a safe manner
Requirements
Strong working knowledge on protected work practices (lock out/tag out, fall protection, and hazard assessments)
Ability to work with minimal supervision independently or in a group
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
A class 5 driver's license with 3 or fewer demerits (abstract must be no older than 30 days pre-hire)
A clean & qualified appearance
Red Seal Journeyman Ticket if Journeyman
First Aid, CSTS, Fall Arrest, AWP, H2S Alive, CSO, Fire Alarm PIN (for Journeymen) are pre-employment requirements

Pay: $24.00-$44.00 per hour
