Are you a recent Paralegal or Law Clerk graduate looking to launch your legal career with hands-on experience?

We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our Collections & Recovery team. You'll gain practical experience in legal documentation, collections, Small Claims enforcement, consumer proposals, bankruptcies, PPSA matters, and negotiated settlements while working alongside experienced management and legal professionals.

What You'll Do
Draft legal correspondence, settlement agreements, payment arrangements, and notices.
Assist with Small Claims Court files, enforcement, garnishments, writs, and legal documentation.
Manage consumer proposals, bankruptcies, and recovery files.
Communicate professionally with customers to resolve outstanding accounts.
Conduct skip tracing and account investigations when required.
Maintain accurate file documentation and ensure legislative compliance.
Work closely with internal departments, external counsel, and court offices.

Qualifications




Recent graduate of a Paralegal or Law Clerk program.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid G or G2 driver's licence required.
Collections or legal experience is an asset but not required.
Notary Public or Commissioner for Taking Affidavits designation is an asset.
