Overview

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering excellent service. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or merchandising are a plus, as they enhance our ability to serve diverse customers effectively.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions
Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision and integrity
Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience
Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
Assist customers with inquiries about products, store policies, or services
Manage customer returns and exchanges efficiently
Keep the checkout area clean and organized throughout the shift
Support inventory management through merchandising and stock replenishment when needed




Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls

Qualifications
Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service preferred
Solid communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a rapid-paced environment
Qualified appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour
