Position Summary
L&A; Metalworks Inc is seeking skilled Welder/Fitters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in fitting and welding, be able to read and interpret drawings, and work on a variety of custom and industrial fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Fit and assemble metal components for welding
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding depending on project requirements
Work with materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Fabricate custom and industrial components to required tolerances




Operate fabrication equipment (saws, grinders, press brakes, etc.)
Maintain quality standards and ensure accuracy of finished work
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications
Experience as a Welder/Fitter in a fabrication or industrial setting
Experience working on site
Robust blueprint reading and layout skills
Experience with aluminum and stainless steel is considered an asset
Ability to work on a variety of custom and industrial projects
High attention to detail and workmanship
CWB certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
