Duties:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts
Perform frame carpentry work to prepare spaces for electrical installations
Install electrical components such as switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
Test electrical systems for proper functioning and safety
Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions or equipment failures
Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate electrical installations with other construction activities
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing duties
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or relevant trade school education
Valid electrician license or certification
Proven experience in the field as an electrician
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques for electrical installations
Familiarity with high voltage systems and equipment
Solid understanding of electrical codes and regulations
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
