Provide vital homemaking services to clients, focusing on supportive care in daily living. Key tasks include housecleaning, meal prep, and emotional support, ensuring a dignified living space. As a Homemaker for the Home Care Program, you will play an essential role in assisting individuals struggling with aging, illness, or disabilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting emotional well-being, and documenting the care provided. Your professionalism will ensure that all relevant policies are met while enhancing clients' quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough housekeeping and laundry activities
Ensure operation of household appliances is monitored
Offer companionship and emotional encouragement
Record daily activities and client observations accurately
Support the care plan and participate in meetings Requirements:
Minimum of two years of related experience
Experience working with elderly individuals preferred
Valid First Aid/CPR Certification required
Ability to drive with a valid Ontario license
