A Truck Tires Distribution company is seeking an experienced DZ Driver to support delivery operations in GTA and 300 to 500KM Area. This is a Full time role with approximately 40 hours per week, combining driving responsibilities with occasional warehouse and labour duties when driving tasks are complete or when there are no driving tasks for the day.
About the Position :
To drive a Freightliner Straight Truck (28’ box, automatic transmission)
Deliver truck tires to customers and job sites in a timely fashion
Receive and stock tires and products in the warehouse
Check customer orders for accuracy before leaving the warehouse
Load and unload truck tires orders & container shipments
Complete all paperwork and documentation required
Ensure truck and warehouse is clean and organized
Comply with health and safety measures

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2+ years of related experience
A minimum valid Class DZ license
Current and clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR
Had success working in a fast-paced workplace thanks to your ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Good communication skills and attention to detail
The skills to use ELD (Electronic logging Device)
Physically capable of lifting up to 110 to 130 lbs
A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
The ability to work in inclement weather as required
Physically capable and able to perform labour duties when required
Flexible and adaptable to a mix of driving and warehouse responsibilities
Assist with warehouse and labour duties when driving tasks are complete or when no driving responsibilities are scheduled
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
A strong commitment to health and safety
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, shifts ranging from 6–12 hours depending daily deliveries to our customers
Base Pay: $22.00 Hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, and experience.
