We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our agile retail team. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous and qualified manner
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments while handling cash responsibly
Provide product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions
Upsell complementary products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured items
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person,
demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Experience
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base
Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures is advantageous
Experience with product demos or technical sales can be a plus for promoting specialized items
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role
Demonstrated excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters positive customer interactions
