This full time role requires flexibility, travel, and a commitment to community service. As a Family Support Worker II, you will engage with families, children, and youth directly, implementing therapeutic interventions under the Signs of Safety model. Your responsibilities will include managing service plans, conducting family visits, and building supportive relationships. You will operate with cultural sensitivity, advocating for family and community needs within a compassionate framework. Key Responsibilities:
Provide adaptable support addressing children and family needs
Oversee service plan goals and ensure desired outcomes
Establish trusting relationships with families
Conduct community visits, available for evenings and weekends
Prepare reports in compliance with program specifications Requirements:
Diploma/degree in Social Work or related field
Minimum 2 years' experience with families
Valid Alberta Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
Fluency in an Indigenous language is an asset
