Join Positive News Garage as a Driver and provide essential transportation services to individuals and families across Vermont. Deliver safe and punctual rides while supporting community members needing access to vital services. This position with Ascentria Care Alliance involves transporting “Ready to Go” clients in a fleet vehicle while assisting them, particularly children, during boarding and exiting. Knowledge of child safety seat installation is essential, along with proficiency in smartphone navigation for recording ride details. Key Responsibilities:
Transport eligible clients to medical and social service appointments
Help riders of all ages enter and exit the vehicle safely
Secure child safety seats to ensure compliance and safety




Utilize GPS for route navigation and accurate data recording
Communicate with dispatch about any scheduling or service issues Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Solid smartphone and GPS navigation skills
Friendly and patient attitude towards diverse riders
Strong customer service communication abilities
