Enhance rehabilitation efforts as a Psychologist in Ontario’s correctional system. Provide critical assessments and therapeutic interventions within a supportive, multidisciplinary setting.

As a part of the Vanier Centre for Women and Maplehurst Correctional Complex, this position involves diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals within the prison system. You will conduct group therapy sessions and develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring that psychological support is both effective and constructive for each client.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and evaluate inmates’ psychological needs
• Facilitate weekly therapy sessions in a group setting
• Administer and interpret various psychological assessments




• Compile detailed risk assessment reports for parole boards
• Train and supervise junior psychological staff members

Requirements:
• Registered as a Psychologist or Psychological Associate in Ontario
• Proven expertise in psychological and therapeutic techniques
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Solid analytical and organizational capabilities
• Experience with clinical or forensic psychology is preferred
