Key Responsibilities:
• Sharpen, tip, and bench round saws
• Maintain preventative maintenance on machinery
• Assist in training apprentices in saw filing
• Participate in reliability and safety task teams
• Follow quality control and machine alignment procedures
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 3 years in a sawmill workplace
• Proven experience with filing shop equipment
• Familiarity with tensioning and leveling saws
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
