Support young learners at the Jewish Community Centre as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. This position focuses on nurturing children’s growth and development in a flexible work setting.

Engage with children at the PJCC, ensuring their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional needs are met in accordance with the CCEYA and the ELECT framework. You will assist RECE professionals in creating a secure and supportive workplace while providing individualized learning and therapeutic support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with RECEs to aid children in daily routines
• Create tailored learning experiences for each child
• Provide support for therapeutic programs like speech therapy
• Ensure a safe environment sensitive to children’s needs
• Implement recommended support measures from agencies

Requirements:
• Passion for teaching and interacting with children
• Strong English communication and interpersonal abilities
• Availability during daycare hours
• Preferred knowledge of the ELECT framework
• Required clearances for TB, police check, and First Aid certification
