Kahkewistahaw First Nation #72 is looking for a Maintenance Assistant for Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School. This position involves ensuring cleanliness and safety through various maintenance tasks.

In this hands-on role, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support cleaning, upkeep, and seasonal duties at CKCS. Candidates must be reliable, with robust attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols efficiently. You will contribute to creating a positive workplace for staff, students, and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily cleaning and upkeep of CKCS
• Assist in performing minor repairs under supervision
• Help with groundskeeping and maintaining outdoor areas
• Engage in seasonal maintenance and safety tasks
• Project a respectful attitude towards the school community

Requirements:
• Graduate from Grade 12 education
• Experience in maintenance or related fields is an asset
• Class 5 Drivers License is preferred
• Complete Vulnerable Sector Check and drug screening
• Commit to ongoing safety and training as needed
