3GA Marine seeks a Mechanical Engineer focused on marine projects in Victoria or Burnaby, BC. This role offers a mix of office and occasional in office work to support cutting-edge vessel designs and refits.

We are hiring at all experience levels: Junior, Intermediate, and Senior. This position entails drafting designs using industry-standard CAD software, performing inspections, and producing deliverables that meet strict regulatory standards. Your influence will drive high-quality results in complex engineering projects within a team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft marine systems designs using AutoCAD and related software
• Perform calculations and input data for regulatory compliance
• Write specifications for design and refit projects




• Execute 3D scanning and support VR design implementations
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and proposals

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• EIT or P.Eng. eligibility in British Columbia
• Background in ship repair or similar field preferred
• Familiarity with CAD software including ShipConstructor is an advantage
• Excellent technical communication skills and teamwork
