Become a vital part of UCDSB by teaching Senior Visual Arts in the After School program. This role runs Monday to Thursday from 2:30 p.M. to 4:00 p.M. The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a qualified instructor for its After School program, scheduled for 110 hours over the school year. Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation and possess specific qualifications in Senior Visual Arts. This term-specific role adheres to UCDSB's commitment to equity and inclusive practices in education. Key Responsibilities:
Teach Senior Visual Arts to students after school hours
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards
Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom workplace
Communicate effectively with students and parents
Complete program requirements and evaluations as needed Requirements:
Valid Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation
Qualifications in Senior Visual Arts education
Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in teaching
Experience in lesson planning and classroom management
