This chance at the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre allows you to work directly on research that influences farming practices. You’ll gain expertise in microbial community analysis and soil health indicators, alongside academic training in the lab and field settings. The project aims to provide farmers with actionable insights to maintain soil health. Key Responsibilities:
Investigate microbial communities in various cropland systems
Carry out soil sampling and microbiology laboratory tasks
Apply statistical analysis in R for data interpretation
Report research findings effectively to stakeholders
Support experimental design in fieldwork settings Requirements:
Enrollment in a Master’s program at the University of Lethbridge
Experience in molecular biology or relevant fields
Familiarity with soil science principles
Strong analytical and written communication skills
