Slegg Building Materials is hiring a Forklift Operator for the afternoon shift in Langford, BC. This role is crucial for ensuring protected handling and delivery of building materials. Join our team where you will be responsible for the productive operation of lift trucks from 1 PM to 9:30 PM. The Forklift Operator will focus on loading, unloading, and preparing orders while maintaining high safety and accuracy standards. Daily lift truck inspections and timely deliveries are essential to this role. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and keep detailed lift truck records
Ensure all maintenance standards for lift trucks are met
Build customer orders in accordance with specifications
Load and unload building materials safely
Confirm accuracy and secure all loads before shipment Requirements:
Valid forklift certification (propane)
At least two years of relevant experience
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with basic math and hand tools
