Enhance dining experiences for residents at Extendicare as a part time Dietary Aide. Your focus will be on meal serving, preparation, and kitchen cleanliness. As part of the Culinary Services team, you will help serve meals and prepare for dining events while maintaining a substantial degree of professionalism. Responsibilities include not only the everyday meal service but also assisting in catering during special events and orientation for recent employees. You will ensure that all regulations are upheld while promoting a safe and welcoming environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities:
Serve meals to residents and guests effectively
Prepare for meal services, including setting up dining areas
Clear and clean tables during and after meals




Assist in maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness
Participate in catering activities and training sessions Requirements:
Food Handler's Certificate mandated
Previous food service experience in senior settings preferred
Enrolled in or completed Food Service Worker Program
Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
