Help youth thrive as a Child and Youth Care Counsellor at Hull Services. This full time role focuses on supporting children aged 9 to 13 in a trauma-informed setting. Hull Services is seeking a Child and Youth Care Counsellor to join its Mountainside Program. You’ll work in an interdisciplinary team, implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies. Daily responsibilities include monitoring needs and promoting emotional well-being in a structured setting while engaging with families and the community. Key Responsibilities:
Attend to the physical and developmental needs of children
Implement behavioral interventions and communication strategies
Organize daily living activities as learning opportunities
Plan recreational activities to foster social skills
Advocate for children's rights and represent their interests Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care Counselling
Experience in therapeutic or congregate care settings
Transparent police checks and child intervention record
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
