Make a meaningful impact on youth education as a Support Worker at the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre. Engage urban Indigenous students in achieving their Ontario Secondary School Diploma through creative programming. You will oversee the delivery and coordination of the Alternative Secondary School Program while collaborating with the Lakehead District School Board and actively promoting youth engagement. This role calls for solid group facilitation skills and a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures and settings. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate educational activities for youth
Collaborate effectively with educational stakeholders
Analyze data and create comprehensive program reports
Lead workshops aimed at youth engagement
Build trusting relationships with students to foster participation Requirements:
Preferred education in social services or related field
Minimum 3 years in educational or social services settings
Knowledge of Indigenous culture and community issues
Excellent communication and management abilities
