Provide vital counselling services to support families overcoming challenges within an Indigenous framework. This position involves both individual and group counselling aimed at women and children affected by family violence. Starting in September 2026, you’ll engage with community resources while embracing Anishinabe teachings in your practice. With versatile schedule, you can tailor your approach to support diverse client needs effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver both individual and group counselling
Engage Elders for guidance in service delivery
Develop and update program materials and resources
Maintain thorough documentation and assessments
Participate constructively in organizational meetings Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Social Work or related field
Experience in group work and holistic healing methodologies
Comprehensive knowledge of family violence
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
