Drive your career forward with Telecon as a Cabling and Fiber Technician. This role is vital for executing structured cabling projects and ensuring service quality in Nova Scotia. In this technical position, you will focus on installing structured cabling as well as managing fiber optic services. Solid communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for maintaining customer satisfaction. Transportation to various sites or to our Dartmouth office will be necessary. Key Responsibilities:
Install CAT 5E, CAT 6, and fiber optic cabling
Test and troubleshoot cabling installations
Foster positive customer relations through consistent contact
Assist in service calls alongside lead technicians
Abide by all Health & Safety regulations Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant installation experience
Nova Scotia Cabling Specialist Certification is preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Capacity to gain Government of Canada reliability status
