This role focuses on providing compassionate assistance in a faith-rooted setting during overnight shifts. Based in Chilliwack, BC, this casual position is perfect for those who have adaptable schedules, especially on evenings and weekends. You'll help clients navigate their paths to healing utilizing the Genesis Process model, promoting a structured and grace-filled atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:
Support life skills development and structured activities
Offer emotional support and crisis intervention
Promote a safe and encouraging recovery workplace
Collaborate with the team and maintain accurate documentation
Assist with group facilitation Requirements:
Experience in addiction recovery, counselling, or social services recommended
Trauma-informed and harm-reduction understanding
Robust communication and problem-solving skills
Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check required
