Join Alpha House as a Community Outreach Worker, engaging directly with individuals struggling with addiction and mental health in the Beltline area. This full time role includes night shifts, providing critical support and crisis intervention. As part of the Beltline Outreach program, you will engage with vulnerable populations and collaborate with various partners to facilitate client-centered support. Your responsibilities include advocating for clients, conducting assessments, and providing transportation to safe locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to advocacy. Key Responsibilities:
Support clients with non-judgmental, empathetic assistance
Engage in outreach and conduct sweeps in hidden areas
Collaborate with community partners to coordinate care
Advocate for clients and represent Alpha House positively
Facilitate educational sessions and maintain skilled ethics Requirements:
2-year diploma or degree in Social Sciences or related field
Knowledge of harm reduction and mental health systems
Crisis management experience with vulnerable communities
Class 5 Non-GDL driver license and clean driver’s abstract
