People are at the heart of every great organization, and exceptional cultures do not happen by accident. Our client is a leading community builder known for quality, strong values, and a collaborative leadership team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
They are seeking a People & Culture Lead to champion the employee experience and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business. This is a broad, hands-on HR role with responsibility for:
Employee Relations
Performance Management
Onboarding
HR Operations
Talent Acquisition (as needed)
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR generalist who is comfortable supporting both office and field-based employees. You understand the realities of operational environments and enjoy balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution. Equally important, you are self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable operating as the organization's primary HR resource.
This role is ideal for an HR professional seeking greater ownership, influence, and variety. Reporting directly to the President, you will shape and lead people practices across the employee lifecycle while seeing the impact of your work firsthand.
What makes this chance particularly compelling is the combination of broad scope, leadership visibility,
and autonomy. The incumbent will own the people function, partner closely with leadership, and play a meaningful role in shaping the organization's future.
The foundation is already strong. Employees are engaged, leaders are invested, and culture is viewed as a key contributor to the company's success. The opportunity is to build on that momentum, strengthen programs and processes, support leaders, and help guide the next stage of growth while preserving the values that make the organization a outstanding place to work.
Key Qualifications
Broad HR generalist experience across employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and HR operations
Experience supporting both office and field/site employees
Background in construction, manufacturing, distribution, or other operational environments
Comfortable operating independently in a stand-alone HR role
Solid relationship-building, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
If you're ready to step into a highly visible role with real ownership and influence, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on both the employee experience and the future of a growing organization.
