In this position, you will support clients alongside the Recovery Home Supervisor, providing crucial intervention services and teaching life skills necessary for independence. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, implementing coping strategies, and fostering connections to community resources. You will also engage in essential record-keeping and maintain professional conduct in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients
• Assist with household management and safety
• Document progress and maintain client records
• Encourage participation in recreational and vocational activities
• Handle medication safekeeping according to regulations
Requirements:
• Formal training in social services or related areas
• At least 2 years experience with Indigenous populations
• Current certifications in First Aid and Food Protected Level 1
• Valid driver’s license for client transportation
• Solid relationship and communication skills
